Summer Reading

“All Together Now” : June 1 – July 22!

Readers who have just completed 5th grade & younger may sign up beginning May 22, using paper sheets to log books that are read, or use the online Beanstack app. and begin logging titles June 1st. (See instructions below.)
Small prizes will be awarded with each completed sheet. A GRAND PRIZE drawing will be held at the end of the program, for those who have completed all 5 sheets. July 22 is the last day to turn in reading logs!
All ages are welcome to attend any of the events scheduled for the Summer Reading Program.
FREE programs at 10:00 a.m.
June 1 (Thursday) – Stories, Crafts, and Fun at the Library!
June 8 (Thursday) – Buffalo Garden Club, at the Library! Free seed starter kids for all registered children!
June 15 (Thursday) – Buffalo Fire Department truck and presentation at the Library!
June 22 (Thursday) – Stories, Crafts, and Fun at the Library!
June 27 (Tuesday) – Mammals of Missouri, presented by Ha Ha Tonka State Park, held at the Buffalo United Methodist Church Family Center, at the corner of Pine & Benton Streets, 2 blocks north of the library!
June 29 (Thursday) – Marty the Magician Show, Marty Hahn, held at the Buffalo United Methodist Church Family Center, at the corner of Pine & Benton Streets, 2 blocks north of the library!
July 6 (Thursday) – Stories, Crafts, and Fun at the Library!
July 13 (Thursday) – Missouri Department of Conservation at the Library!
July 20 (Thursday) – Iron Knights Fitness (exercise, health & wellness).
How it works:
- Visit Beanstack or download the Beanstack Tracker app or
- Register for a family or individual account and add readers.
- Your card number is required. Use the letter “P” in front of your number, and if needed, Add zeroes in front to make a total of 6 digits. Example: P00001.
- Log reading and activities beginning June 1st.
- Earn badges and prizes along the way!
