Genealogy – Local History

An essential collection of genealogical & historical sources to help you research your family tree.
U.S. Federal Census records, Social Security Death Index records. For home access, enter the characters dlc and your library card number.

The Library has microfilm of Buffalo newspapers obtained from the Missouri Historical Society available for viewing and printing, 1869 to the present.  Some are not available due to poor quality, or lack of the original document to microfilm.  Films may be viewed at the library during our regular hours.  Call the library for details.
